WHITEGATE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION JOINS ST. KITTS MUSIC FESTIVAL AS GOLD SPONSOR
Basseterre, St. Kitts, 23 June 2026 – The Whitegate Development Corporation (WGDC) has joined the St. Kitts Music Festival as a Gold Sponsor of the 2026 event, marking the beginning of a new partnership built on a shared commitment to national development and community advancement.
Established to promote the socio-economic vitality of the Whitegate Development Area, WGDC works to support economic development, strengthen communities and improve quality of life through advocacy, partnerships and community-focused initiatives. Those objectives align closely with the broader impact of the St. Kitts Music Festival, which continues to generate economic activity while creating opportunities for businesses, residents and visitors alike.
Chairman of the St. Kitts Music Festival Committee, Allister Williams, welcomed Whitegate Development Corporation as a new sponsor and noted the natural alignment between the goals of the two organizations.
“The partnership between the St. Kitts Music Festival and Whitegate Development Corporation is a natural fit,” Williams said. “The festival has long been recognized for its contribution to the social and economic life of the Federation, and it is encouraging to partner with an organization whose mandate is similarly focused on development, opportunity and community wellbeing.”
Williams noted that while the festival is widely recognized for its entertainment value, its impact extends beyond the performances presented on stage.
“The St. Kitts Music Festival creates opportunities for businesses, supports employment, encourages visitor spending and brings communities together,” he said. “Those outcomes contribute to the broader development of the country and align with many of the objectives that organizations such as Whitegate Development Corporation seek to achieve through their work.”
Whitegate Development Corporation’s sponsorship reflects a recognition of the role that national events can play in advancing broader social and economic objectives. Through its support of the festival, the Corporation is investing in an initiative that contributes to economic activity, community engagement and destination development.
The 2026 St. Kitts Music Festival takes place June 25–27 at Warner Park Stadium.
