Enhancements To Festival Experience

The Executive Committee of the St Kitts Music Festival (SKMF) showcased an enhanced experience for patrons attending the 2024 edition of the festival. Based on exit surveys and social media engagements, the committee added several key components to the nightly experience.

The Arrival Experience was vibrant and interactive, setting the tone for each night. As attendees made their way into the venue, they were greeted with a lively atmosphere featuring a variety of entertainment – folklore, steel band, modeling, instrumentalists, and more.

Additionally, the 2nd Stage was buzzing with action during the changeovers with top local DJs and over a dozen vendors selling their favorite drinks and food.

Artisans Village, a place where traditional craftsmanship meets the festival environment, offered a diverse range of arts and crafts such as pottery, jewelry, local candies, and teas from a variety of local bush. The Hi-Rise section returned and again created an improved and exclusive space to enjoy smoking cigarettes, cigars, and marijuana.

Friday, June 28, featured another staging of Festival Junction where patrons won tickets and valuable gifts from sponsors. On Saturday, June 29 fans were treated to a Food Fair and the final edition of Festival Junction at Sugar Apple in Fortlands. Jamrock Jerk Fest concluded the daytime activities for Festival Saturday. The week of festivities concluded on Sunday, June 30 with Carambola’s White Sands and Anchored.
